Fayetteville Arkansas Backyard Wedding // Patrick + Lauren

Patrick and Lauren are Arkansas natives who currently live in New Orleans. They wanted to have their wedding at home but make sure it was a mash up of the Fayetteville they love with a New Orleans flavor. They wanted a comfortable laid back theme when they had originally planned it for a music venue (like your mother's basement or old dive bar with knick-knacks everywhere) but due to COVID they decided to have it in Patrick's mother's backyard.

Keeping it outside was the best and safest option right now. Fayetteville really did most of the work with the weather and beautiful fall foliage. They rebuilt the back deck to accommodate the integrity of the house and to allow a space for the ceremony. Family and friends helped clear out the yard and string up as many lights as possible. As take away gifts and decor, the bride designed and screen printed prayer candles as a nod to this spiritual candle shop down the street from their house in New Orleans with elements of their little family and date of the wedding.
