Fairlane Station Wedding // Jt + Jordan

What memory stands out most to you from your wedding day?

It is so hard to pick just one memory, but I think the best part of our wedding was the feeling of love we felt from every single person who was present. We are NOT dancers, but when we stepped out onto the dance floor and did our entrance and first dance, we were immediately calmed by the warmth and happiness exuding from everyone around us. Because of Covid, there were so many people there that we hadn't seen in years, which made our wedding feel like a reunion. On top of that, 99% of our guests flew in from the East Coast and made the journey just for us. It was such a blessing to have all of our favorite people in the same place.

Another favorite memory is our last dance. When our guests were setting up for the sparkler exit, it was so special to have one last, private dance between the two of us to end the night.

Advice for future couples?

Wedding day advice - This is about YOU and your love. Don't get caught up in all of the social media or family expectations for your wedding day. Plan your wedding day around what is special to you as a couple. Everyone present will be there to celebrate what makes your love special.

Marriage advice - Your wedding day is just the start of your marriage, afterwards, continue to make time for each other and discuss all of the big and small things. You are on the same team and it's important to choose each other every day.

How was your experience with me?

April is amazing, thoughtful, and one of a kind. JT and I are awkward (we own it), but April made us feel so at ease and really captured our love for one another. It was really important for us to have a photographer who could capture the skin tones of ourselves and our guests effectively. April made our skin SHINE and everyone's true tones were captured. When we got our photos back, we couldn't get over how April was able to capture the big and small moments of the day -- every emotion, small gesture of love, and bits of joy were on display and we still can't get over our pictures.

On top of that, April goes out of her way to make you feel at ease. Whether that is by suggesting rehearsal dinner spots and bridal shops or as a workout accountability partner leading up to the big day, she goes out of her way to make your experience incredible.
