What memory stands out most to you from your wedding day? Our ceremony was incredibly special and one of my favorite memories. We were outside surrounded by everyone that we loved. We asked one of my best friends to officiate and he created a ceremony that was so personal and grounded in our values. We laughed. We cried. We had shockingly similar vows. And two of our friends gave readings that make me smile whenever I think about them. It felt powerful to stand in front of everyone and declare our love for each other and to be held and supported by our people in that moment. It was such a highlight amidst an absolutely beautiful weekend.

Advice for future couples? Choose a date in advance of your wedding (3-4 days before) where you'll stop worrying about the details. At that point, it's all done. Start focusing on being present with your people and just enjoying the time. It really does go by so fast and this helped me be really present throughout the lead up and the whole weekend.

How was your experience with Freckled Fox? Working with April was a dream. It mattered to me that we had a photographer who would put both of us at ease, was open and welcoming to us and our people, and who would bring out our true nature in the photos. April's energy is so calming, and we both felt relaxed around her. She is an incredible artist who captured all of our favorite moments and the photos are stunning. I love to go back and look at them and remember the day. I hope April is able to capture all of our important moments in the future.
