What memory stands out most to you from your wedding day?

So many memories stand out! I think keeping the first look and vows private helped keep the nerves at bay for both of us and allowed the day to proceed smoothly. Sneaking a quick snack break for just the two of us to regroup after the ceremony, where we had a chance to soak in the fact that we were married. (Def a high suggestion) Also, taking the mother-daughter dance into a flash mob to start the party and set the tone, the couple sets the tone of the event in a big way! Our ceremony in the round, having our guests' faces in the ceremony photos and literally being surrounded by love as we declare our love, still gives my helpless romantic side all the feels. Our goal from the beginning was 1) to have fun, 2) to love our people, and 3) to get married (obviously). 

From Cam: He loved seeing his mom's excitement when she came to take photos with him and the groomsmen. He was a big fan of the little moments (again, the snack/ dinner break before we went into the reception).

Advice for future couples?

Top advice: Be intentional with the guest list, be true to your selves,  hire and TRUST the professionals, and just roll with it. Yes, weddings seem like a lot of pressure, but if you take yourself too seriously and focus on this hypothetical 'perfect day,' you'll miss the forest for the trees. 

April and her team did such an amazing job coaxing my shy husband into posing and made us both feel comfortable and natural throughout the entire day. When bridesmaids ran behind, she was helpful and flexible with the time to ensure I received the shots we wanted! (10/10 superstar status)  All the candid photos of our favorite people are true treasures to us!
