What memory stands out most to you from your wedding day? Well, 2020… what can we say? Our original wedding date was summer 2020, so we were VERY excited to see this celebration finally come to life two years later! Though we had to pivot several times and the final outcome was different from what we had originally planned, we wouldn’t have changed a thing. In between our at-home wedding in July 2020 to our Mexico celebration in November 2022, we welcomed a sweet baby boy to our family – having James at our wedding reception was a beautiful blessing we never anticipated but are so grateful for! I still tear up thinking of our mother/son dance we shared 😊

Advice for future couples? Since our wedding was international, it was important to us that we have two things – 1) a solid wedding planner who could take ownership of all the details, and 2) a BOMB photographer to capture the memories! We were so lucky to find an event planning team who’s not only artistically skilled in their craft, but truly managed all the tiny details that come with an international destination wedding. We had full faith that everything would be beautiful for our special day!

How was your experience with Freckled Fox? April is AMAZING! There are no other words. She’s a creative genius, she’s fun, and truly cares about her clients like they’re her own family. April was one of the first photographers I reached out to after we got engaged in 2019, and she was so quick to send venue and style ideas before we even signed the contract. I knew from the very beginning she was in it for the long haul and that our photos would be capture every essence of who we are. If you’re looking for someone to capture the beautiful, sweet moments but also do a sultry morning after photo shoot in the ocean, April is your girl hands down!
