What memory stands out most to you from your wedding day?
The memory that stands out most from our day for me is when Ryan and I got up to dance and I looked around the room and just took in the fact that this room was filled with every single person that we loved and I did not even know where to go to dance first because I just wanted to be with everyone.
Another Memory is Ryan and I sitting at a sweetheart table soaking in everyone that was sitting around us. Getting to laugh together. Talk about how happy we were, and really just enjoy a big part of the night together on our day.
Advice for future couples?
Your wedding is YOUR day. Surround yourself with people who make you feel happy and brings you joy. This is the one day of your life that you and your future partner get to create your vision of what you want your life to look like in the future. It truly is the start of the rest of your lives. Choose what is important to you and focus on it, don’t make decisions to make other people happy. If they love you, on your day, what makes you happy will make them happy.
Do not sweat the small stuff. Things will go wrong, things may not be exactly what you pictured. But if you focus on every person who CHOSE to celebrate with you and surround you with love it doesn’t matter what happens, it will be your best day.
Support Small Businesses. The best decision I made was choosing small (mostly women owned) businesses as vendors. THEY CARE about YOU!! And will do everything to make your day so so special.
How was your experience with April?
AMAZING! When booking a photographer I did not realize I would be picking a stylist, second wedding coordinator, shoulder to lean on, and so so much more than just someone capturing our special day. I truly cannot image out big day without her! She was helpful, made us feel comfortable, and helped me bring my vision to light. I truly could not have asked for anything more.
I feel like I am not writing enough because she so special to us. When I watched out wedding video there is a part after us cutting the cake that you she is wiping the icing off my face and I was like THIS is what I would show people when explaining how amazing she is. Moving tables to make the dance floor, dealing with groomsmen that don’t want to get their picture taken, and so so much more. And all while doing all of that she went above and beyond capturing our big day. The pics will speak for themselves on the blog ;)
